Videobot or video doesn't appear on your site ​
Symptoms ​
- The Videobot widget doesn't show up at all, or
- the widget shows up but the video stays black, or
- the preview image is missing.
Other sites show the same Videobot correctly.
Likely cause ​
Your site sends a Content-Security-Policy (or a similar security header) that doesn't allow one or more Videobot addresses. Browsers then silently block those parts.
This is especially likely if videos stopped playing after your account moved to Videobot's own streaming service on *.videobot.com, and your policy only lists Cloudflare.
How to check ​
- Open the Site Compatibility Check.
- Enter the address of a page where Videobot should appear.
- Anything red needs fixing. Use Copy report and send it to whoever manages your website.
You can confirm it in the browser too. Open developer tools (F12) → Console, and look for errors mentioning Content Security Policy and videobot.com.
How to fix ​
Add the Videobot addresses listed on the Site Compatibility Check page to your Content-Security-Policy, then run the check again.
