Mass Edit ✏️

When managing a large number of videobots, updating settings one by one can be tedious. The Mass Edit feature lets you select multiple videobots and apply settings changes to all of them at once.

TIP

Mass Edit is currently available for Analytics settings, with more settings categories coming in the future.

Entering Selection Mode

Navigate to the Videobots list page and click the Select button in the page header to enter selection mode. Checkboxes will appear next to each videobot in the table.

To exit selection mode without making changes, click Exit Select.

Selecting Videobots

Once in selection mode, you can select videobots in several ways:

  • Individual selection — Click the checkbox next to each videobot you want to edit.
  • Select all on page — Use the header checkbox to select all videobots visible on the current page.
  • Select all across pages — After selecting all on the current page, a banner appears offering to select all videobots across every page.

To start over, click Clear selection to deselect all videobots.

Bulk Actions Bar

When one or more videobots are selected, a bulk actions bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many videobots are selected. Click Edit Settings to open the settings editor.

Editing Settings

Choosing a Category

The settings editor opens with a category selector. Choose the settings category you want to edit — currently Analytics Settings is available.

Analytics Settings

The analytics form lets you configure tracking and integration settings for all selected videobots. Each settings group has a checkbox — only the groups you check will be applied. Unchecked groups will remain unchanged on the selected videobots.

Analytics Integration

Select the analytics integration type and configure its options:

  • None — No external analytics integration.
  • Google Analytics (Website) — Send events to your existing GA4 installation via gtag.
  • Google Analytics (Direct) — Connect directly to GA4 using a measurement ID.
  • Google Tag Manager (Website) — Push events to GTM's data layer.
  • Google Tag Manager (Embedded) — Inject a GTM container within the videobot.
  • Send events via postMessage — Emit events for custom integrations.

When using a direct GA4 or GTM integration, you can configure the Measurement ID or Container ID, and set Consent Mode defaults for storage categories (ad, analytics, functionality, personalization, security).

For more details on analytics integration options, see Configuring Integrations.

Meta Tracking

Enable or disable Meta Pixel tracking and set the Pixel ID for all selected videobots.

Applying Changes

After configuring the desired settings, click Apply to N videobots to start the update. The editor shows a progress indicator as each videobot is updated sequentially.

Once complete, you'll see a summary:

  • All succeeded — All videobots were updated successfully.
  • Partial success — Some videobots were updated but others failed. The failed videobots are listed so you can address them individually.
  • All failed — None of the videobots could be updated. Check your permissions and try again.

Click Close to return to the videobots list, which will refresh automatically with the updated settings.

Permissions

The Mass Edit feature is available to Owners, Admins, and Members. Users with the Viewer role cannot access selection mode or bulk editing.
