Product Cards ​

Product cards display products from your configured feeds inside Videobot slides. This guide covers creating, customizing, and managing product cards.

Creating a Product Card ​

  1. Open your Videobot in the Builder
  2. Navigate to the Content tab
  3. Select a slide or click Add Product Card

When creating a product card:

  1. Name: Give the card a descriptive name (e.g., "Featured Running Shoes")
  2. Product Feed: Select from your configured feeds
  3. Product Count: How many products to display (1-10)
  4. Card Size: Choose Small, Medium, or Large

Card Sizes ​

Small ​

Compact horizontal banner without a CTA button. Best for:

  • Subtle product suggestions
  • Overlay on video content
  • Space-constrained layouts

Medium (Default) ​

Horizontal card with thumbnail and CTA button. Best for:

  • Standard product recommendations
  • Balanced visibility and space usage
  • Most use cases

Large ​

Vertical card with full-width CTA, no image. Best for:

  • Maximum product focus
  • Text-heavy descriptions
  • Single product highlights

CTA Text ​

Customize the call-to-action button text:

  • "View Product" (default)
  • "Shop Now"
  • "Learn More"
  • "Add to Cart"

NOTE

CTA button is not shown on Small size cards.

Slide Assignment ​

Control which slides display the product card:

  • All Slides: Leave slide selection empty
  • Specific Slides: Select individual slides from the dropdown

This allows you to show contextual products based on the video content.

Product Card Layout ​

Products display in a horizontal scroll layout. Viewers can:

  • Swipe through products on mobile
  • Use scroll on desktop
  • Click any product to open its URL

Multiple Product Cards ​

You can add multiple product cards to a Videobot:

  • Different cards for different slides
  • Multiple feeds for varied recommendations
  • Combine small overlays with large featured cards

Best Practices ​

  1. Match your brand: Customize colors to align with your branding
  2. Consider context: Use slide assignment to show relevant products
  3. Keep it focused: 3-5 products typically work best
  4. Test on mobile: Verify the horizontal scroll experience
  5. Use descriptive names: Makes management easier with multiple cards
